Homework for Nov 16th
Hello Class,
For next week, I want everyone to give a final project presentation to the class.
Start with the purpose of your website, your target audience, what you want to achieve at the end.
You will need to prepare wireframes, sketches (of each linked pages if possible) and detailed info on the codes you want to use. You need to give a good reason behind why you would chose to use a certain javascript/jqery function on your web page.
I will not accept simple oral presentation, I need to see prepared materials and evidence of thought process.
See you next week!

Homework for Nov 9th
For next week, build 2 linked webpages using the functions we learned today (popup window, random display, cycling and form).
Example :
1. First webpage has cycling images with links (they all can lead to one html page).
2. Click on the link, enter second html page.
3. Second html page has buttons/menu/links that has pop-up.
Be creative!
Those of you who need some help with your JQuery exam this week, give yourself an hour and try out the lessons given at www.w3schools.com.
Sorry I wasn't able to debug some of your homework today. Zip the file and email it to me during the week and I'll take a look at it.
See you next week!

Homework for Nov 2nd
Hello Class,
Today we went through some basic javascript (alert, rollover and slideshow functions).
For next week's homework make the following.
1. In total you'll make 2 html pages.
2. The first html page will have 3 buttons and each of them will have individual alert (just like the fruit exercises we did in class)
3. The buttons will lead us to the second html page.
4. The second html page will have a slide show.
You can have the rollover function used on either the first/second html page, most likely as a button. If you want to try and attach a CSS file, go for it. If you want to write your javascript on the html page rather than a separate js file, that's fine too.
Be creative!

Homework for Oct 26th
For next week...
Use the HTML5 canvas codes to illustrate the following elements on one web page.
1. Frame
2. Background (within the frame) : you can use either the pattern/gradient
3. Stick figure (with head, face, body)
Creativity is a huge part of the homework. If you guys can find other canvas codes and put them in the homework, extra points there.
